Why did you start Freja Studios?

Freja Studios was conceived when two friends, Rebecca and Natalie, met in Berlin in 2020 and immediately bonded over a shared aesthetic and a love for well made, long lasting design. Always on the hunt for curated shops with preloved fashion that are focused on the minimal and timeless, they decided to create one ourselves and Freja Studios began in 2022. As of Summer 2024 the store is owned solely by Natalie. Read more about our story here.

I see you are based in Berlin, is there a shop space where I can try your items on?

Unfortunately no. At the moment we’re only able to offer our selections online. This is why we offer returns for those times that, once you receive your item, it doesn’t quite fit as perfectly as you’d imagined. We also organise pop-ups throughout the year where you have the chance to visit and try things on in person.

How do I figure out my size?

As sizes change depending on the year an item was made, which brand it’s from and its country of origin, it can sometimes be misleading to only look at the size tag. This is why we offer exact measurements in the description of every item so that you can make sure it’ll be a good fit for you before you commit to a purchase. Returns make our operations a little tricky so if you are not finding the measurements you need please contact us.

What if my item(s) don’t fit?

If you receive your item and it doesn’t fit as expected, you may return it within 14 days and receive a refund. See our full return page for more details on how to do this.

What are your shipping costs?

Our shipping costs vary from 4.99 EUR and up, depending on the country you wish to send your order too. See our shipping page for full details.

Do you accept returns?

Do you clean items before selling?

We are highly selective of the items we source, quality and excellent condition are on the top of our agenda, so most pieces come to us in a clean condition already. We inspect all items upon arrival and if they do not meet our high standards then we refresh and repair as necessary. We tend to stay away from items with big flaws however as the garments have had a previous life before coming to our shop, some items may have imperfections and subtle signs of wear as is the nature of pre-loved. These will be listed in the description of the item.

Do you take consignments?

Yes we would be more than happy to sell items on your behalf. If you would like to sell with us please send us a message via email or using the contact form for further details as to the process. Brands and items we are interested in are:

  • Designer brands such as Jil Sander, Acne, Toteme, Prada

  • Premium vintage from the 70’s to 90’s from designer and high end quality brands

  • Designer shoes, bags and accessories

Please note we are currently not accepting high street and fast fashion brands.

I am a stylist/photographer/magazine interested in borrowing clothes for a shoot, is that possible?

Yes, absolutely. Please send us a message via email or using the contact form above for further details. Please include how long you would need the items for and what the concept is as we may have other items suitable that are not on the website.

How can I stay in the know for events and future pop up shops?
